What You Will Be Doing

Are you passionate about supporting graduates to achieve meaningful career outcomes? This is a strategic and student-facing role, leading the development and delivery of high-quality career guidance and employability support for final-year students and graduates up to five years post-graduation. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing graduate outcomes and supporting the Universitys performance in key metrics.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Leading the design, delivery, and evaluation of graduate-focused career services, including transition support for final-year students.
  • Providing tailored one-to-one career guidance and job search coaching to a caseload of recent graduates and alumni.
  • Acting as the institutional expert on the HESA Graduate Outcomes Survey, working closely with the Planning and Performance Team to optimise reporting and performance.
  • Line managing the Graduate Progression Adviser (Intern), providing supervision, coaching, and development support.

Qualifications/ Experience

  • Level 6 qualification or equivalent experience
  • Professional qualification in Careers Guidance (e.g. DipCG, QCG, QCF Level 6)
  • Substantial experience of delivering career guidance and employability support to diverse student and graduate populations.
