Directorate
The Directorate of People, Culture & Wellbeing is seeking an experiencedTemporary Staffing Coordinator toplay a key role in supporting the delivery of the temporary staffing service within the People Operations team.
What you will be doing:
- Coordinate and deliver the University's end-to-end recruitment service, ensuring a high-quality, compliant, and customer-focused experience from attraction through to onboarding.
- Provide day-to-day operational supervision, guidance, and support to the Resourcing Administrators.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, UKVI requirements, safeguarding obligations, and equality, diversity, and inclusion principles throughout the temporary staffing process.
- Provide specialist advice and guidance to managers on temporary staffing processes, policies, and best practice.
- Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the temporary staffing processes, systems, and ways of working.
- Promote the University as an employer of choice by supporting recruitment campaigns, executive recruitment activity, job fairs, and employer branding initiatives.
- Work collaboratively across People Operations, providing support and cross-cover for the Resourcing Coordinator during periods of annual leave, absence, peak workload, or business need.
Qualifications/ experience:
- Significant experience working within an HR, recruitment, resourcing or temporary staffing environment
- Experience coordinating temporary staffing or workforce deployment processes.
- Experience undertaking Right to Work checks and applying UKVI compliance requirements.
- Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent experience.
