As an AV Specialist within the IT Service Delivery team, you will support and maintain the University’s Audio‑Visual, event and teaching technologies. You will work closely with colleagues across IT, contributing to day‑to‑day operations, system monitoring and improvement projects. We seek someone who brings fresh ideas, challenges existing approaches and helps drive continuous improvement of our AV services.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain Audio‑Visual, event and teaching systems.
  • Collaborate with Service Delivery and other IT teams to provide timely assistance.
  • Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in projects to enhance and upgrade AV offerings and teaching facilities.
  • Challenge the status‑quo, ask why and drive improvements and efficiencies.

Qualifications / Experience

  • 5 GCSEs (Grade A–C) including English Language and Maths, or equivalent work experience.
  • Relevant degree, or equivalent qualification, or relevant work experience.
