What you will be doing
This is a highly influential role, working at the intersection of strategy, governance, partnership and delivery. This role is suited to someone with strong experience of working across complex multi sector systems, partnerships and governance structures. You will work closely with EDI leads, senior leaders, boards and partners to translate EDI ambition into measurable, sustainable outcomes, including embedding equity within the City's Crisis and Resilience work.
Key responsibilities
- Leading the design and delivery of a coherent, system wide EDI priorities
- Coordinating EDI programmes and workstreams across multiple sectors in Bradford District and Craven
- Coordinating and overseeing system wide EDI programmes and workstreams, ensuring shared ownership, accountability and impact.
- Acting as a trusted advisor on sensitive and politically complex equality issues
- Using data, lived experience and evidence to drive improvement and impact
