Key Responsibilities
- Assist with lifeguarding swimming sessions
- Carrying out gym inductions, programmes and offering help and advice if required
- Welcome and develop connections with all guests, providing support, assistance and specialist knowledge where required
The Person
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (to be achieved within 2 months of probation; the organisation will fund training)
- Gym Instructor qualification (to be achieved within 2 months of probation; the organisation will fund training)
- Enthusiastic and committed

Competent Swimmer Criteria
- Swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds
- Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back in deep water
- Tread water for 30 seconds
- Surface dive to the floor of the pool
- Climb out unaided without ladder/steps where the pool design permits
