We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our vibrant team at Unique Fitness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with lifeguarding swimming sessions.
  • Carry out gym inductions, programmes and offer help and advice if required.
  • Welcome and develop connections with all guests, providing support, assistance and specialist knowledge where required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (to be achieved within 2 months of probation; training will be funded).
  • Gym Instructor Qualification (to be achieved within 2 months of probation; training will be funded).
  • Enthusiastic and committed.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Competent swimmer – must meet the following criteria:
    • Jump/dive into deep water.
    • Swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds.
    • Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back in deep water.
    • Tread water for 30 seconds.
    • Surface dive to the floor of the pool.
    • Climb out unaided without ladder/steps where the pool design permits.
