Research Institute
The successful candidate will join the Applied Health and Wellbeing team in the Research Institute for Health and Social Care and be a researcher on a new National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) funded project to optimise the safety of medicines management in homecare. You will work alongside a thriving and supportive community of researchers and clinicians exploring health and care quality and safety research questions. Our researchers are embedded within renowned research teams at the Wolfson Centre for Applied Health Research and the NIHR Yorkshire and Humber Patient Safety Research Collaboration to conduct nationally important research to make health and care safer.
What you will be doing:
- Contribute to the management and delivery of the research programme on a day-to-day basis, participating in project meetings, liaising with research sites, and responding to queries.
- Develop data collection materials (such as interview schedules and outcome measures) and applications for ethical approval.
- Conduct data collection including qualitative interviews, observations, document analysis.
Qualifications/experience:
- A postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. health or social care, social sciences, psychology).
- Experience of conducting health- or care-related research projects.
- Experience of interviewing research participants.
