We are looking for a Front of House Manager to join our team at Unique Fitness, based at the University of Bradford.

This is a part‑time role (19 hours per week, Saturday to Sunday).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the front‑of‑house operation, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and high‑quality customer experience.
  • Manage and support front‑of‑house staff, including rotas, training and day‑to‑day supervision.
  • Deliver consistent, excellent customer service across all customer‑facing areas.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for customer queries and complaints.
  • Oversee opening/closing procedures and ensure all health and safety checks are completed.
  • Manage bookings, memberships, income reconciliation and administration systems.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and training of staff.
  • Ensure accurate incident reporting and compliance with procedures.
  • Deputise for senior operational staff when required.

Qualifications

  • National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (to be achieved within 2 months of probation with organisational training funds).
  • Gym Instructor qualification (to be achieved within 2 months of probation with organisational training funds).
  • Enthusiastic and committed.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience in a customer‑facing leadership role is desirable.
