What You Will Be Doing
- Coordinate a team of Assessment Officers in the effective, high-quality and customer‑centric delivery of examinations services across the University.
- Support the smooth‑running of examinations and similar assessments (including programmes specific examinations, e.g. OSCEs).
- Lead on the production of university examination timetables and schedules.
- Coordinate the operation of overseas examinations, ensuring that requests are handled in line with University policy, coordinating overseas venues and handling arrangements for papers and scripts.
- Coordinate all arrangements for the production of examination papers, ensuring high quality assurance and accuracy.
- Coordinate examination invigilation, including allocating, training and overseeing invigilators.
- Coordinate the operation of University examination periods.
- Ensure that examination procedures are strictly followed.
Qualifications / Experience
- Level 3 qualification, such as A level or Access to Higher Education Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Experience of working in a student‑facing service.
- Experience of using a variety of IT packages to a high standard, including word processing packages, spreadsheets and databases.
