The School of Computing and Engineering delivers a mix of core engineering disciplines and creative technologies, providing students with expertise and opportunities tailored to their strengths. A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) is a project between a company, a university, and a recently qualified graduate or post-graduate (known as an Associate), enabling the transfer of knowledge, technology, and skills. KTP Associates manage strategic projects within the company, enhancing their career prospects by developing managerial and technical skills.
What you will be doing:
- You will be the first point of contact for students who have issues with their IT equipment.
- You will be assigning tasks to the relevant people within the IT team to deal with.
Qualifications/experience:
- You should have a first degree in a science, engineering, computing, or technology-related discipline, together with an MSc in a relevant area such as Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Data Science, Cyber Security, or a related subject.
- Experience working with real-world user data, including data collection, filtering, feature extraction, data quality assessment, and secure storage and transmission.
