Responsibilities
- Provide support to the University Archivist with the management, auditing and use of the varied collections.
- Carry out research for University events and publicity, including the University’s 60th anniversary.
- Research and respond to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Undertake a wide range of archival duties including document retrieval and repackaging and relocation of collections.
- Check, upload and approve content of the University’s art collection onto the Museums Data Service website.
- Create collection‑level descriptions of archive collections to be added to various discovery platforms.
Qualifications
- GCSE in English and Maths.
- Degree in librarianship or archive administration, or equivalent level of experience.
