ERP Systems Manager (Finance)
Grade 8 – Internal applicants only.
Professional Services – Finance, Planning, Property and Commercial Operations.
Post Type: Full Time, Contract Type: Permanent.
- What You Will Be Doing
- Lead day‑to‑day functional management of the University’s ERP systems, ensuring reliability, configuration, and alignment to business needs.
- Provide expert advice on ERP functionality, workflows and best practice to colleagues across Finance, HR and Professional Services.
- Oversee system configuration, upgrades, testing and change processes, working closely with IT Services to ensure robust and controlled delivery.
- Manage core system data structures, including organisational hierarchies, financial controls and workflow approvals, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Qualifications / Experience
- Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline such as business, finance, HR, or information systems.
- Significant experience working with ERP systems (Finance and/or HR) in a large or complex organisation.
- Experience of system configuration, workflows, data structures and business process support within ERP environments.
- Strong understanding of Finance operational processes (e. g., payroll, budgeting, procurement).
