Greater Manchester Business School is an innovative vocational business school with real‑world experience and employability at its heart. Having piloted and transitioned to the Greater Manchester Way block model for undergraduate programmes, the school has undergone significant transformation over the past two years with new student support initiatives implemented to improve student experience. About the Role
We are looking to recruit a dynamic Senior Lecturer who will support our wide portfolio of business courses. We are an applied business school with a focus on equipping students to add value from day one in industry and we follow ‘teaching intensive, research informed’ principles. Knowledge exchange and feeding contemporary research into the curriculum is important, as are industry links that inform up‑to‑date theory and practice.
Qualifications & Experience
- Registration with an appropriate professional body is desirable.
- A first degree is required and a teaching qualification is preferable.
- A commitment to undertaking or completing a PhD/DBA and membership of the Higher Education Academy is a requirement of our full‑time roles.
- Candidates with significant industry experience are particularly welcomed.
- Successful candidates will need to demonstrate up‑to‑date awareness of current developments within their specialist area and be able to nurture links between courses and real‑life businesses.
