An exciting opportunity has arisen within Student Services for an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated Customer Service Assistant (CSA). We are looking for an individual with a “can-do” attitude who is an excellent team player and who can deliver excellent customer service even under demanding, high-volume and busy periods in a key Receptionist role.

Our CSAs are required to provide initial reception duties to students, staff and visitors at our main campus. They also undertake a full range of administrative and clerical duties. It is expected the post holder will provide effective support for applicants, students and staff at the University.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a professional customer focussed reception service, to be the first point of contact (telephone, email, and face-to-face) at Senate House, University of Bolton and to undertake other general administrative duties as appropriate. Previous experience of working in a busy reception or customer facing role is essential.

The successful candidate will have effective written and verbal communication skills and be able to maintain a confidential, helpful and cooperative manner when working under pressure.

You should be committed to working with a diverse student body and be able to show sensitivity to individual differences. In order to meet the needs of the University and Student Services, a flexible approach to working patterns/hours is an essential requirement of this role.

You will be required to manage competing deadlines and have the ability to use your own initiative to resolve and refer a wide range of enquiry types.
