The key duties of the post holder will be to contribute to the teaching, delivery, development, research and administrative support of undergraduate and taught postgraduate Occupational Therapy programmes, and other related programmes; including the academic and personal support of students. In addition, you will be expected to contribute to the student recruitment and admissions of the occupational therapy programmes.

Professional Membership/Registration is an essential requirement for this role along with a first degree and preferably a teaching qualification. We are particularly interested in candidates with contemporary experience in Occupational Therapy. A commitment to undertaking a PhD and membership of the Higher Education Academy is an essential requirement of the role.

The successful candidate should demonstrate a practical awareness of current developments in Occupational Therapy Education and be able to facilitate the creation and maintenance of a range of links between courses and the Professional sector.
