The Centre for Arts, Film and FX within the School of Arts and Creative Technologies is undergoing a period of exciting transition and we are now looking to recruit a talented individual to join our team. In particular, we are seeking someone with academic and/or industry experience in the following areas:

  • Photography (Senior Lecturer)
  • Digital Media Practice (Lecturer)

The successful candidate for the Lecturer role would be required to teach the application of media production and content creation that complements and enhances the profile of the department with an emphasis on video production and postproduction skills. S/he will also be required to deliver materials relating to workflow, including technical processes, legal aspects and day-to-day professional media management.

We would be interested in hearing from you if you are an established academic keen to assume a Senior Lecturer Photography or if you can demonstrate a passion for your specialism and commitment to the success of students as a Lecturer whether you are:

  • Currently working in industry but looking for a new challenge and interested in transferring your knowledge and skills to academia;
  • An early career academic with a willingness to develop and achieve a teaching qualification / HEA accreditation and build your research profile.
