The key duties of the post holder will be to contribute to the teaching, delivery, development, research and administrative support of undergraduate Health & Social Care programmes, and other related programmes; including the academic and personal support of students. In addition, you will be expected to contribute to the student recruitment and admissions of the Health & Social Care Programmes.
Professional Membership/registration is a desirable requirement for this role along with a first degree and preferably a teaching qualification. We are particularly interested in candidates with contemporary experience in Health & Social Care. A commitment to undertaking a PhD and membership of the Higher Education Academy is an essential requirement of the role.
The successful candidate should demonstrate a practical awareness of current developments in Health & Social Care Education and be able to facilitate the creation and maintenance of a range of links between courses and the Professional sector.
Successful applicants will be required to prove their right to work in the UK prior to the commencement of their employment. Whilst the University of Greater Manchester is a licensed sponsor, under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) not all roles are eligible for visa sponsorship. This position may not meet the criteria for a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS). Eligibility will be assessed in line with the Home Office requirements at the time of making the offer.
