Summary
We are seeking to recruit two enthusiastic, thoughtful, and collaborative individuals to join us in this endeavour by teaching, assessing, and supporting our undergraduate, postgraduate students working on our qualifying BA, MA, and Step-Up to Social Work programmes. Candidates should ideally be registered with Social Work England or an equivalent international body.
The successful candidates will develop an innovative, research-informed curriculum, delivering high-quality teaching across social work subjects. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with contributions to course management and administrative duties. A commitment to professional development and to inter-professional and international perspectives in social work is expected.
- Teaching within own subject area within an established programme (under supervision).
- Contributing to funding generation and enhancing student experience or employability; designing and delivering CPD programmes for external clients; consulting on own specialism.
- Engaging in licensing or spin-out deals with demonstrated success and contributing to public understanding of the discipline.

- Teaching courses at various levels within specific subject areas, including lectures and seminars.
- Contributing to module design with colleagues.
- Planning and preparing teaching materials.
- Supervising projects, dissertations, and practical work.
