The predicted salary is between 55000 - 65000 £ per year.

In their role as Associate Clinical Professor, the candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and administration. In addition, the candidate will be expected to contribute to academic citizenship, likely to be demonstrated through generous, mutually respectful and supportive working relationships with all staff and students.

Teaching will include:

  • Development and leadership of major teaching programmes or equivalent;
  • Enhancement of the student experience and employability.

Management and administration will include Departmental / School leadership and management activity with University wide involvement – for example, through sustained high value research, knowledge transfer, enterprise, business engagement, and public engagement or similar activities.

Clinical service as part of an honorary contract with the Birmingham Community Health Care Foundation Trust.

Person Specification

This is a clinical academic post and the postholder must be a dentist with clinical experience delivering Paediatric Dentistry who may have completed specialist training, is fully registered and with a licence to practise with the GDC and participating in clinical appraisal and revalidation. Demonstrated competence in Learning and Teaching, and Management and Administration. Valuing excellence, sustaining investment.
