The University of Bedfordshire is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and proactive Faculty Executive Administrator. The post holder will be part of a dynamic team providing administrative support to the Business School in the University.

Duties will be varied from organising meetings and taking notes, organising staff conference attendance, travel and accommodation, administering staff temporary contracts, working with the Heads of School and members of staff, raising finance requests, settling in new members of staff. Ability to effectively coordinate and deliver a diverse programme of events, working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders across Faculties, the University, Schools and Colleges. Also, the role will include providing cover for other administrators’ annual leave and other absences as requested.

The successful candidate will hold an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in administration. They will have experience of office-based administrative activities and will be familiar with the use of IT platforms such as Microsoft Office.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing and by email, and by telephone and will be able to work effectively with different categories and levels of staff and to empathise with people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds.
