We are looking for a Visa Advice and Compliance Officer to work in the busy and dynamic Recruitment and Admissions Office as a pivotal part of the International Visa Advice and Compliance Team. You will prepare and analyse data on various aspects of visa compliance work and ensure international students receive immigration and visa advice, enhancing the students' experience and helping to ensure the University retains its Student Sponsor status. You will provide the highest possible level of customer service to all students as well as other internal and external stakeholders.
You will be required to demonstrate knowledge of UKVI guidance and immigration rules relating to students in higher education. You will retain a broad and detailed knowledge base of complex information and respond quickly to constant changes in legislation and regulations. You will be accurate and pay attention to detail, with excellent communication skills, a pro-active and positive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to work as part of a team.
The post will be based at Luton (with travel to other campuses as required).
