Overview

Having embarked on an ambitious programme of work reviewing our student-focused processes and developing our student record system to meet the needs of our students, staff and key stakeholders, we are pleased to advertise this exciting post of Data Quality Analyst to work within our Curriculum Systems and Data Management team to support and enhance our data quality underpinning our view of data as an asset to the institution.

Responsibilities

  • Support, create and maintain validation reports to underpin the data quality of our Student Records system (SITS), working with teams within Academic Registry to identify areas and develop validation reporting to support enhanced data quality.
  • Work closely with the Curriculum team and support project work through reporting.
  • Support external returns reporting by supplying specified data reports.
  • Provide support and input into current and new processes to ensure they are developed and operate to meet new and emerging data requirements, including effective mechanisms for managing and maintaining data quality.
  • Develop and deliver reporting solutions that meet the needs of the institution, with a focus on data accuracy and accessibility.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience with Oracle SQL and the ability to develop reports that meet the needs of the institution.
  • A positive contributor to the team with a commitment to continuous improvement and change processes.
