About the Role

At the University of Bath, our digital vision goes beyond simply deploying technology-we aim to empower, enable, and connect our people to drive meaningful organisational, societal, and environmental change. We're looking for an experienced and motivated Technical Project Manager to join our Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) department.

This role will lead a key workstream within the Cloud Enabling and Agresso Re-platforming (CLEAR) programme-an ambitious initiative to modernise the University's finance systems and lay the groundwork for the future cloud-based solutions.

Role Focus

You will manage the delivery of our new Integration Platform, ensuring seamless data exchange across systems. You'll engage with business teams, manage stakeholders, coordinate with in-house technical resources and offshore tech partners to ensure timely project delivery.

In addition, you'll contribute to the development of a Cloud Centre of Excellence, helping to shape a sustainable cloud operating model within DDaT and build the capabilities needed for future cloud migrations.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience delivering complex technical/IT projects in large organisations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and project management capabilities.
  • Confidence in managing relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience with the deployment of data integration platforms.
  • Experience working as part of a project team.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and complexity.
