The Universities of Bath and Plymouth have collaborated with NHS England to establish a new School of Pharmacy located at the University of Plymouth. The highly successful Bath MPharm is now being delivered on site in newly purpose-built facilities at the University of Plymouth campus. You would be part of a growing team of staff as we continue to roll out the MPharm programme, which started in September 2024.

We are recruiting a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer post in Pharmacy Practice (teaching-focussed) to be part of the Plymouth-based MPharm teaching team. You will provide high-quality teaching and assessment on the MPharm courses, support individual learners and contribute to the successful delivery of this new school of pharmacy. The role requires coverage of a range of clinical topics and the teaching of clinical and prescribing skills to undergraduates. You should be a passionate teacher, with a collegial approach to working with academic and professional services colleagues. The post will be based in Plymouth with occasional travel to Bath. The University is willing to show flexibility in working practices. The successful candidate is expected to take up the role in August or September 2026.

There is one post available at Lecturer or Senior Lecturer with up to 1.0 FTE in Pharmacy Practice. We will appoint at the appropriate grade level in the range 7, 8 or 9 depending on experience.
