The Department of Social and Policy Sciences is an internationally renowned Department, and one of the leading centres for social sciences in the UK. The Department is committed to supporting excellence in both research and teaching.
You will be expected to contribute to core teaching on our BSc Social Work and Applied Social Studies and MRes Social Work. You will be expected to support students on placement and provide guidance and support to those assessing the student’s practice.
Our ideal candidate
- You will already have some teaching experience.
- We will consider specialisms in any sub-field of social work but are particularly keen to strengthen the department’s interests in social work with children and families.
- You will have a qualification in Social Work and be registered with Social Work England or be eligible and willing to register.
The position on offer is full time (36.5 hours per week) and on a permanent basis. We consider ourselves to be a university where difference is celebrated, respected and encouraged.
