The Students\’ Union wish to appoint a Kitchen Manager to be based primarily in the Plug & Tub bar.
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual who can uphold the high standards of food quality, safety, and service that define the University of Baths catering services!
As the Kitchen Manager, you will take responsibility for and manage all aspects of the kitchen, ensuring that procedures regarding financial control, food safety, HACCP, Health & Safety, and staffing are carried out within university guidelines.
You will produce quality food to menu specifications in a high turnover unit and for on-site functions & banquets as required and ensure that your team adhere to the specific roles and responsibilities relevant to them that are included in the Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
You will work with the management team and undertake training to deliver projects that will develop food & beverage offering, management & customer service, and play a key leadership role within our culinary operations.

This is a full-time role, working 36.5 hours per week, over 33 weeks per year (term time only), predominantly Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend and evening work.
