The International Relations Office at Bath collaborates with colleagues internally and external partners to drive global cooperation, innovation and excellence in education, research and student experiences, strengthening the University of Bath’s reputation and global impact. We are seeking an ambitious individual to join our dynamic team to support partnership activity delivery and communications.
About the role
You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of international partnership activity, including the organisation of high-level visits and research funding schemes, and will lead on the planning and coordination of communications and marketing of IRO core activities to internal and external audiences. In this varied and collaborative role you will work with colleagues from across the University, contributing directly to embedding internationalisation and strengthening Bath’s global partnerships and profile.
About you
You will bring a strong track record in administration, ideally including experience coordinating engagement or partnership activity, or working in a higher education or similarly complex environment. You will also demonstrate:
- Strong organisational skills, with excellent communication and attention to detail.
- A proactive, self-motivated, and flexible approach, with the resilience to perform under pressure.
- Excellent IT skills, with the confidence to use digital tools, systems and platforms effectively in day-to-day work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams, engage stakeholders at different levels and manage multiple priorities.
- Good understanding of communications and marketing principles.
