About the role

Love great food and enjoy delivering exceptional service? Join us as a Food and Beverage Assistant.

  • Take customer orders and serve food and drinks with a smile
  • Operate tills and handle transactions accurately
  • Keep food stations stocked and ready for service
  • Assist with cleaning, clearing tables, and maintaining catering areas
  • Learn barista skills with full coffee machine training provided

This role is primarily Monday to Friday, with early mornings and late evenings included. Occasional weekend shifts will be required during busy University events such as Open Days.

About you

You will bring a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Previous experience in the hospitality industry is highly desirable. You’re a strong team player who remains calm, professional, and solutions-focused under pressure, as peak periods can be extremely busy. During quieter times, you’ll take initiative by identifying tasks that keep the operation running smoothly and ensure everything is fully prepared for the next service.

This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, 36.5 hours per week.
