About The Role
We are seeking an organised, adaptable and proactive individual to join our busy Faculty Hub team as a Department Administrative Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals, including recent school leavers, who are looking to take their first steps in a professional administrative career, in a dynamic and fast‑paced position where no two days are the same.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Reception support – act as the first point of contact for students, staff and visitors, dealing with enquiries in person, by phone and by e‑mail in a professional and friendly manner.
- General office administration – carry out tasks such as filing, photocopying, data entry, raising purchase requests and organising meetings or events.
- Student and staff support – help maintain accurate records, assist with teaching‑related administration and support staff with day‑to‑day tasks.
- Events and activities – provide practical support for applicant visit days, open days, inductions and departmental events, ensuring a welcoming experience for all attendees.
- Web and systems administration – assist with updating departmental web pages, online learning platforms and the preparation of data and reports.
