We are seeking a reliable and proactive part‑time Cleaner Porter to join our friendly Campus Services team within Cleaning and Portering. This role offers a varied workload, and a typical day may include:
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness within designated areas
- Emptying general waste and recycling bins
- Assisting with the movement of furniture, equipment, and deliveries
- Supporting room setups for events, meetings, and teaching activities
- Responding to reactive requests from building users and facilities teams
- Ensuring the safe handling and storage of materials and supplies
- Providing a visible, helpful, and approachable presence for students, staff, and visitors
Please note, this role involves regular lifting and carrying. Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, 5:00am–9:00am. Occasional weekend work may be required, including alternate weekends and university open days or events. Flexible working options will be considered; applicants should state their preferred working arrangements in the application form.
