About the role
Two two-year postdoctoral research positions in nonlinear partial differential equations are available at the University of Bath. The successful candidates will work on research topics connected with singularity formation and singular limits in fluids and other nonlinear evolution problems.
About you
Applicants should have, or be close to completing, a PhD in mathematics, with a strong background in analysis and nonlinear PDEs. Expertise in areas related to fluid mechanics, geometric analysis, calculus of variations, dispersive equations, or singular perturbation problems is particularly welcome.
