About the role
This Professor or Associate Professor position at the Centre for Bioengineering & Biomedical Technologies (CBio) will lead global-impact research, aligning outcomes with education goals. Responsibilities include world-leading research in a CBio-related area, attracting external funding, and fostering collaborations. The role encompasses management, teaching, and leadership, integrating findings into undergraduate and postgraduate education. The Professor/Associate Professor will contribute to a vibrant postgraduate research environment, ensuring real-world impact. Internationally, they will represent CBio, the Faculty, and the University, building sustainable academic networks. Faculty of Engineering and Design
The Faculty of Engineering & Design is a dynamic and diverse community consisting of four departments: Architecture & Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electronic & Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Intertwining with these departments are six innovative interdisciplinary research centres – including CBio – equipped to tackle the significant environmental, economic, and social challenges encountered by humanity.
