About The Role
The Professor or Associate Professor position at the Centre for Bioengineering & Biomedical Technologies (CBio) will lead global-impact research, aligning outcomes with education goals. Responsibilities include world-leading research in a CBio-related area, attracting external funding, fostering collaborations, managing teaching and leadership, and integrating findings into undergraduate and postgraduate education. The role also involves contributing to a vibrant postgraduate research environment, ensuring real-world impact, representing CBio, the Faculty, and the University internationally, and building sustainable academic networks. This holistic position demands research excellence, innovative teaching, and impactful external engagements within a concise framework.
Faculty of Engineering and Design
The Faculty of Engineering & Design is a dynamic and diverse community consisting of four departments: Architecture & Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electronic & Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Intertwining with these departments are six innovative interdisciplinary research centres – including CBio – equipped to tackle significant environmental, economic, and social challenges encountered by humanity.
