Nursery Administrator – Part‑time

Westwood Nursery, an on‑campus childcare setting, is appointing a part‑time Administrator.

The role supports the smooth running of the Nursery and serves as a key point of contact for the Local Authority and for day‑to‑day communications with parents and carers.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a personal and professional service for parents, staff and the Nursery Manager.
  • Support efficient management of the waiting list and invoicing.
  • Collaborate with the Nursery Manager and the University’s Finance Department to ensure invoices and orders comply with financial regulations.

About You

  • Knowledge and understanding of working with budgets and finances.
  • Good team player with strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to maintain administrative systems and records.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Well‑organised, methodical, accurate, with excellent attention to detail.

Part‑time: 21.9 hours (0.6 FTE) across Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
