About the role

The MBA Programmes Officer plays a central part in delivering an exceptional experience for our Full‑time and Executive MBA students. You’ll work closely with academic staff, professional services teams, and external partners to ensure our flagship programmes run seamlessly from day to day. This is a varied, hands‑on role where no two days look the same. You’ll be the friendly face students turn to, the organisational engine behind module delivery, and the calm presence who keeps everything on track.

In this varied and people‑centred role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth delivery of our Full‑time and Executive MBA programmes. Your work will directly shape the experience of a diverse, globally experienced student community, and you’ll become a trusted point of contact for both students and academic colleagues.

A key part of your role will involve supporting the delivery of teaching and learning activities. You’ll co‑ordinate module preparation, scheduling, and logistics, ensuring that academic staff, guest speakers, and external contributors have everything they need. You’ll also help support blended and hybrid learning formats, contributing to a modern and flexible learning environment.

You’ll take responsibility for a wide range of programme administration tasks. This includes producing clear programme information, maintaining high‑quality materials, and managing assignment submissions and student records. You’ll respond to queries relating to enrolment, fees, and registration, and you’ll support academic boards and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the programme’s overall effectiveness.

A significant part of the role centres on student experience. You’ll act as a friendly, approachable first point of contact, offering guidance and helping students navigate their programme. You’ll build strong relationships with student representatives, support feedback processes, and help identify when students may need additional support, signposting them to relevant services. You’ll also contribute to Orientation, pre‑arrival communications, and activities that help new students integrate smoothly.

Beyond this, you’ll support engagement and community‑building initiatives, working with colleagues to deliver social, networking, and learning support activities. You’ll also assist with student‑led initiatives such as mentoring schemes and peer‑to‑peer sessions, helping to foster a vibrant and supportive MBA community.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is warm, approachable, and confident working with a wide range of people. You’ll be highly organised and accurate in your work, with a strong commitment to doing things properly and maintaining excellent administrative standards. The role calls for someone who remains calm under pressure, adapts quickly to changing circumstances, and can prioritise effectively when demands are high. You’ll be motivated by helping others succeed and by creating a positive, supportive environment for students and colleagues alike. Professionalism and discretion are essential, as you’ll often be trusted with sensitive information and situations that require tact and good judgement. Strong communication skills are key, along with exceptional attention to detail and a genuine service mindset that shapes the way you interact with everyone you support.
