About the role

This role is eligible for the Campus Services New Starter Bonus (£1,000) and Campus Services Refer a Friend bonus.

As a General Porter, you will support the smooth day-to-day operation of catering and hospitality services. Working as part of the wider team, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and customer service across all outlets and facilities.

About you

We are looking for a proactive and reliable individual who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude and take pride in delivering high standards in everything they do.

You will bring:

  • Experience working in a team-based role, ideally within a hospitality or service environment
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and customers

  • A commitment to health, safety, and food hygiene practices and a willingness to undertake required training

You will also be dependable, approachable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively. A willingness to learn, follow procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement will help you succeed in this role.
