This role is eligible for the Campus Services New Starter Bonus (£1,000) and Campus Services Refer a Friend bonus.

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Assistant Hospitality Manager to support the delivery of high-quality front of house operations within our Campus Services team at the University of Bath.

About the role

In this role, you will manage the day-to-day running of your catering outlets, ensuring excellent customer service standards are consistently achieved while maintaining compliance with financial controls, Health & Safety, Licensing Law and HACCP requirements. You will lead and develop a team of hospitality staff, supporting recruitment, training and performance, while working collaboratively with the wider Hospitality management team to enhance our food and beverage offer and overall customer experience. You’ll also oversee stock, rotas and operational standards, ensuring an efficient, well-organised service in a fast-paced environment.

About you

We’re looking for someone with strong front of house management experience, a passion for delivering excellent service, and the ability to motivate and develop teams. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential, alongside a sound understanding of relevant legislation and financial processes.

Further information

This is a full-time role, working 36.5 hours per week. The outlets are open 7 days a week and you will be required to work on a 5 out of 7 rotating pattern covering early mornings, evenings and weekends.
