We Are Recruiting Across The Following Four Strategic Areas

  • Clean Energy Industries: Hydrogen and biogas fuels, energy networks, environmental economics, green finance, ethical supply chains, and behavioural change.
  • Digital and Technologies: AI and machine learning, cybersecurity, spatial intelligence, robotics, human-computer interaction, and digital transformation.
  • Life Sciences: Drug discovery, diagnostics, pain research, preventative healthcare, wearable biosensors, and public health surveillance.
  • Professional and Business Services: Retail innovation, fintech, smart logistics, digital policy, and inclusive growth.

This is a research-intensive role, with the expectation of significant contributions to research excellence and innovation as well as also contributing to teaching within your associated Department.   • A developing track record of research achievement.
  • A clear and feasible research vision aligned to at least one of the priority areas of clean energy, digital and technologies, life sciences, or professional and business services.
  • Potential to secure funding and build interdisciplinary collaborations.
  • Potential to build links with external organisations, such as the commercial and public sector to drive the translation of research into innovation and to deliver real-world impact.
  • Commitment to teaching and mentoring.
