Associates degree in a related field required. Work experience may NOT substitute for the education requirement. Students in a related associates degree program must obtain the degree within nine (9) months from the date of hire to classification. Applicants must be certified as a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) by either the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or the American Medical Technologists (AMT) within fifteen (15) months of hire date. If the position works directly with patients, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) may be required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
Position Overview
Pay range: $21.80 – $35.45 per hour
Sign-on bonus: $10,000 new hire sign-on bonus may be available (full-time only)
Shifts: full-time evening (8 or 10 hour shifts)
Schedules: 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.

Job Description
Perform regular and moderately complex laboratory procedures on body tissues, fluids, and other substances as specified by the lab supervisor. Prepare reagents, conduct quality control, troubleshoot issues, and maintain equipment with assistance from a Medical Technologist, Medical Lab Technician Lead, or Supervisor.
Qualifications
