Overview

The post will be based in the School of Biological Sciences with an affiliation to the Interdisciplinary Institute, University of Aberdeen, and frequent communication with other partners of the BREL-Borneo project (https://www.gcbc.org.uk/project/brel-borneo-benefits-of-biodiverse-restoration-for-ecosystems-and-livelihoods-in-borneo/).

Job Description

The Research Fellow will be attached to a group in Aberdeen that offers a truly multidisciplinary working environment, aided by recent appointments that produce a cohort of postdoctoral scientists who span disciplines. We have purpose-built facilities and possess all the necessary infrastructure and equipment for performing research at the forefront of trait-based ecology alongside teams conducting laboratory measurements. The Research Fellow will be embedded in a vibrant research environment, with multiple active Research Groups working on ecology, biodiversity conservation and evolution.

Salary

Salary will be at Grade 6, £38,249 per annum.
