This KTP project is a partnership between The University of Aberdeen and Resolute Energy Solutions, Stonehaven.

This 30-month fixed term post is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and experienced graduate or researcher in Civil, Structural, Materials or Mechanical Engineering or a strongly related field, to fast-track their career development as a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate. KTP is the UK’s oldest knowledge transfer programme, supporting partnerships between businesses and universities or research organisations, placing talented graduates (KTP Associates) to work on innovative, high-profile projects. KTPs are part grant-funded by Innovate UK, the United Kingdom’s innovation agency, which provides money and support to organisations to make new products and services on behalf of the UK Government.

The successful candidate (KTP Associate) will benefit from a tax-free personal development budget of £5,000 (allowing them to participate in courses/professional qualifications) and will be responsible for other budgets including travel and consumables. The KTP Associate will be based at Resolute’s office at Stonehaven but will be required to travel regularly to the University of Aberdeen for meetings and experimental testing. Costs of travel to the University will be covered within this project.

Starting salary will be between £30,000 and £38,000 per annum with placement according to qualifications and experience.

Type of Contract: Full-time, funding limited for 30 months.
