Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team working together in the Food Court on the first floor of the Student Union Building. There may also be shifts available for you to take on work at other events and in our other catering outlets across campus.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality work and ensure the highest standards of service are delivered and maintained.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude to further training and professional development, and a flexible approach to location of work and the tasks involved.
Qualifications
- The successful candidate should have previous cleaning/kitchen porter experience.
- Work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Be well organised and able to use their initiative.
- Have good communication and customer service skills.
- Be able to work effectively under pressure at peak trading times.
Salary
Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 1, £24,215 per annum pro rata (£12.75 per hour).
