An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our Neuro‑Oncology Team at South Tees Foundation Trust. The post holder will be expected to have experience managing patients with neurological conditions and will be required to have relevant postgraduate study, ideally at Masters level. They must demonstrate advanced specialist skills and knowledge in the assessment and treatment of patients with neurological conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical assessment and support with rehabilitation of neuro‑oncology patients both acutely and in the community.
  • Lead clinical developments and research opportunities to improve neuro‑oncology rehabilitation services at local and regional levels.
  • Work within a specialist multidisciplinary team involved in the care of patients with neuro‑oncology conditions.
  • Deliver clinical expertise at a local and regional level as a Senior Specialist.
  • Actively participate in audit and research.
  • Mentor and receive mentorship from clinicians, the AHP Service Lead and the Head of Physiotherapy.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing patients with neurological conditions.
  • Relevant postgraduate study, ideally at Masters level.
  • Advanced specialist skills and knowledge in the assessment and treatment of patients with neurological conditions.
