An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Theatre Practitioner/ODP/Scrub nurse within Neuro and spinal theatres in The James Cook University Hospital. If you are looking for a challenge and you wish to join a friendly multidisciplinary team then this post may be right for you.
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse, ODP or Theatre Practitioner with a passion for working within the theatre scrub team or a novice with the drive to learn a challenging, interesting and rewarding role working within the neuro and spinal theatre portfolio. If you have ambition and drive we will support you in achieving your goals.
The speciality provides an operating service to the following clinical areas:
- Cranial Surgery
- Neuro Spinal Surgery
- Ortho Spinal Surgery
- Complex spinal trauma surgery
- Complex spinal deformity surgery
- Interventional Neuroradiology
- Chronic pain procedures

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff to the Trust; this training programme has been designed to support our leaders in developing their understanding of leadership and management skills. You will be expected to attend the leadership development programme, and the Quality Improvement Programme that the Trust delivers. This programme aims to:
