About the Post
The joint post is based at The James Cook University Hospital between Orthopaedic Spinal Surgery and Neurosurgery, and in association with the Regional Spinal Cord Injuries Centre. The post will provide training in all aspects of spinal surgery in a unit with an active research programme. The Spinal Surgery service comprises four Neurosurgeons and four Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeons, and operates within the context of a major trust with full support including a Level 1 Trauma Centre, Regional Complex Spinal Hub, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Cancer Centre, Plastic Surgery and Neurophysiological Services.
Training and Experience
Adequate UK clinical experience and MRCS qualification are highly desirable.
