An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and skilled people professional to join the People Directorate to help shape and deliver the University Hospitals Tees (UHT) organisational redesign. University Hospitals Tees consists of North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is a hugely ambitious programme of work creating an opportunity to positively transform healthcare services throughout the Tees Valley, County Durham and North Yorkshire for the benefit of patients and the wider population.
The successful candidate will be part of the People Directorate, supporting the People Project Lead, working closely with the UHT clinical boards, senior clinicians and operational managers to deliver a people programme and ensure its successful delivery.
The Candidate
We are seeking self-motivated, experienced people professionals with experience in change management and related policy and process. You will support the Group People Change Management Lead in delivering this change, as well as providing support and advice to stakeholders across the UHT Group.
The Core Requirements Of The Role
- Developing a people change programme which is robust and ambitious, using people policy and project management knowledge
- Establishing and maintaining high quality relationships with key individuals across UHT
- Challenging assumptions and preferences to ensure the level of transformational ambition and progress is maintained
- Establishing and sustaining effective arrangements to plan, manage and monitor the output of the people work-streams that underpin the UHT strategy, ensuring that they deliver the required outputs to the agreed specification and deadlines
- Recording and ensuring management of progress and risks (escalating as appropriate)
