Job Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Engineer at Worthing and St Richards Hospitals to support the Clinical Engineering Team across the Trust.

The ideal candidate will be competent, dependable, and well-organized, with excellent communication skills. Experience in medical equipment repair and service, along with a Healthcare Apprenticeship at Level 3 Diploma in Engineering or equivalent, is required. Cross-site working is expected.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct acceptance checks, repairs, and preventative maintenance on medical devices.
2. Assist with end-of-life decommissioning.
3. Support the Clinical Engineering Specialists to ensure the safe management of medical devices.
4. Collaborate with clinical and technical staff to ensure smooth operations.
5. Work across sites as needed, demonstrating flexibility.

Essential qualifications include a Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Technology or equivalent, with practical experience in electro-medical engineering.
