Job Overview
We are seeking a Clinical Engineer at Worthing and St Richards Hospitals to support the Clinical Engineering Team across the Trust.
The ideal candidate will be competent, dependable, and well-organized, with excellent communication skills. Experience in medical equipment repair and service, along with a Healthcare Apprenticeship at Level 3 Diploma in Engineering or equivalent, is required. Cross-site working is expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct acceptance checks, repairs, and preventative maintenance on medical devices.
- Assist with end-of-life decommissioning.
- Support the Clinical Engineering Specialists to ensure the safe management of medical devices.
- Collaborate with clinical and technical staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Work across sites as needed, demonstrating flexibility.

Essential qualifications include a Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Technology or equivalent, with practical experience in electro-medical engineering.
