University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust are looking for a driver to join their Transport Department working amongst a team of drivers. The role requirements are based on a 'courier style' service to the healthcare establishments in and around Sussex ensuring our communities are enabled to receive the treatment and resources they need. Predominantly based at Royal Sussex County Hospital with occasional working across the Trust to support the service as and when required.

Courier duties include multiple delivery and collections of pathology, pharmacy, medical records, surgical instruments and replenishment of GP Surgery items across Sussex. All drivers are required to carry out electronic vehicle checks and complete necessary paperwork on a daily basis. General maintenance and daily cleaning tasks in line with all Infection Control Policy is compulsory on each shift you work.
