University Hospitals of North Midlands is currently unable to provide sponsorship for this role. This is in accordance with UKVI guidelines and legislation, as these roles do not meet the skill nor salary threshold for sponsorship. If you hold a graduate visa, you are welcome to apply for this role; however it is important to note that UHNM will be unable to offer sponsorship at the end of your graduate visa. You must also have at least six months until your graduate visa expires at the start of your employment for training and operational reasons.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self‑motivated individual to manage the procurement and stock control of medicines in Aseptic services. The role, as a Senior Administration and Clerical Technical Officer, will include responsibilities across the UHNM Pharmacy Procurement team and the Aseptic department. The Aseptic department prepares and manufactures a variety of medicines, including chemotherapy for direct administration to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Support medicines procurement functions, including ordering, invoicing and to‑follows.
- Work 50/50 between the Pharmacy Procurement team and the Aseptic services department.
- Liaise with suppliers to support the timely purchasing of medicines and follow up on any outstanding orders.
- Manage stock of materials used for the preparation of Aseptic medicines. Not required to participate in the preparation and manufacture of these items.
- Show initiative.
