Job overview:

University Hospitals of North Midlands is currently unable to provide sponsorship for Band 2 and Band 3 roles. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient and motivated individual to join our extremely busy administration team. You will be responsible for welcoming patients/visitors to The Heart & Lung Department and ensuring all cardiac investigations are logged/booked according to National Targets. You must have the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines as well as the ability to work as a team player. Competent computer skills are essential and a cheerful, flexible approach to the workload is necessary. This is a busy role which will involve multi-tasking with ever-changing priorities. You will work alongside the existing administrative and management team. A good understanding of Reception, managing clinics and National Targets is required.

This post is ideal for an individual with a strong administrative background who thrives in a team environment and has good organisational skills with a high level of computer literacy. They should also have good communication and prioritisation skills. The successful candidate will also need to be able to work on their own initiative.
